A supportive, interactive guide for young girls navigating their first period, created in collaboration with co-partner Yuval Bloch.

Overview
The First Period Guide app is designed as a compassionate, educational companion for young girls experiencing their first period. Through a mix of professional guides and peer stories, the app provides support and insight, helping users navigate the physical and emotional milestones of early puberty.
The Challenges
Educational Clarity
Ensuring clear, age-appropriate content while drawing on research to design interfaces that align with those teens are already familiar with, creating a relatable and seamless user experience.
Fostering Security and Belonging
The challenge was to address a sensitive topic in a way that feels comfortable and approachable. The design balanced youthful appeal with maturity, presenting menstruation in a non-intimidating way while avoiding overly childish elements, fostering trust and normalizing the experience.
